View Full Version : Are facials a popular treatment?

sorry if i sound dumb, currently on mat leave until april next year and have decided to take some more training to add to my : other services menu
i originally trained as a make up artist specialising in bridal work and enjoyed travelling all over the south east until i found out i was having a lo and decided to try and take local bookings only
obviously the bookings were greatly reduced so i decided to do some more training and in the last 6 months have qualified in manicures, pedicures, shellac, eyelash /brow tinting, im also about to train in minx /dashing diva and flirties eyelash extensions. i want to offer the above locally to individual clients, but also specialise in wedding beauty and pamper packages - do you think facials would be a beneficial treatment to learn? i know it would be popular for the pamper parties but do brides tend to book them in advance of their weddings and more to the point would i be able to build up a client base of customers who have regular facials? also can anyone recommend any excellent training schools - is there an equivalent to cnd in facials, lol . i have so far earmarked gateway who are close to me, and if turns out to be a popular service may also train in facial lift (indian massage, accupressure?)
would really appreciate any feedback on the above, plan to specialise in eyelash extensions and nail services but need an extra treatment for my pamper parties, are facials the way to go? not really interested in spray tanning or waxing at the mo
