Hi,
I have been using the St Tropez bronzing lotion for a while now, and the last bottle i opened was a slightly off greeny looking brown colour... Not very nice! has anyone experienced this before?
Apparently it is still ok to use, so I have been told by my salon manager, its just the air has got to it. I tried a patch test on myself and the tan didn't really seem to take, much less so than the correct colour lotions.

Can anyone else help me with some advice/experience pls, it seems alot of money to waste.
thanks x

As far as i know there is an ingredient in st tropez that is a green colour to stop the tan from going orange. I would have thought that your manager is right in saying air has got to it, maybe the packaging was damaged? not sure how this will affect the end result....i'd be hesitant to use it on a client as it would be like using a face cream that you had left the lid off...bacteria would get inside. Maybe call St Tropez. Hope that helps!!

they changed their formula, so it is greener. you just have to shake it to mix it up. it will have a slight green tone on the skin but it will be fines after a shower.

Thank you!

I have tested it on myself and it came out absolutely fine. I also did a client, explained about the greenish tinge, she said it was fine as she could see it came out well on me, she said she would let me know if she wasnt 100% happy with result. I havent heard from her but she liked my facebook page so that got to means she's happy!

I didnt think to shake it up to mix it, so will def try that also x
