Hi,
This may sound bit daft but i don't do hair just beauty and I currently have 2 hair stations in my salon and am possibly thinking of renting them out. When renting chairs do they just get 1 chair each? I had a girl before who would do one client (say a colour) then use 2nd chair to do a cut on another client while first client had colour on..
Do chair renters only have 1 client ever in at once? or do you move them somewhere else? Ideally i would like to rent them to 2 stylists.
Also, I only have 1 wash basin.. how many stylists can work to 1 basin? and how do you manage it say if you both have a client in at same time? or do you not book same times? is there something you can do while they wait or would it be unproffessional to be waiting for basin?

Please help

Hi Sarah, I can only advise that this is how we work. Sometimes a stylist needs more than one station for the reason you state. I cannot offer help in regard to chair rental though but hope my little snippet helps

Thank you for your input, it backs up what i thought.
Would love to hear from chair renters or salon owners who rent out chairs see what they think? If you rent a chair is it "a chair"?
