Hey, i have my own beautysalon where i offer everyhting, but mainly i do the waxing, facials and spary tans and anither girl to do mani and pedi, the problem is i have staff come and working for about a year then get about 10 clients then leave, this is causing me problems asi get new clients coming then going, and its a nightmare trying to sort out a prgramme so im just thinking to keep my clients that i have and work alone in the shop, but does this seem unprofesional??? Im jyst so sick and tired of showing girls my techniques, invest my time and show them my experience then they just leave. ANyone got ideas??

Hi why are they leaving, do you have contracts, how annoying for you.
In my recent experience I would say, do it yourself, Ive spent since September last year training up a girl in nails( NVQ level 3 beauty), she supposedly had nail training but turned out it was abysmal, anyway I just sacked her because she basically didnt give a sh!t about my salon or my customers and buzzed off on a saturday afternoon as she wanted to go to a meal and left clients standing at the door, very professional!!
Its taken me two years to build up my business and Ive lost loads of clients because of her, dont waste your time, sorry  she knows how I do my nails now and I am one of the best in my area, still I know her nails arent as good, but I still feel like Ive taught her everything in return for nothing.

In my country people dont like to work for others, so they get experience and then just leave and open up from home or something and charge cheaper as they have no over heads, ive benn a therapist trained in uk but living in cyprus for 8 years, ive had quite a ew girls in and out and same story each time.
I think your right stay by myself and try do as many as possible alone without the headache and anxiety if the staff is doing a good job. Its just annoying when i might be in a middle of treatment when a lients walks through the door to ask a question/get price list and i have to interupt my treatment, maybe its an idea to get an assitant rather than another full therpaist. Thanks x
