I have been given the go ahead to rent a beauty room within a hairdressers. However next door is a run down beauty parlour owned by a lady from Pakistan, which is said to be reasonably busy. The lady imn looking to rent from has said that customers do ask her if she does treatments, and feels it could work. The next door beauty shop does the same as me apart from the nails.
Helppp what would u do???

Thanks

I may be completely off track with this, and certainly dont mean for it to sound out of order, but I know that often ladies from that nationaity will stick to keeping within their own group.
What im trying to say is that you may start doing treatments and build up a client base which may be completely seperate clients from next door and you may well never ever step on each others toes.

Suffice to say, if that place is run down and yours is not then yo may well get some people migrating from next door, who knows?!!
At the end of the day its business, so go for it!!!

Were I work in the same road there are 6 other beauty salons (some are rooms in hair dressers) you can literally see 3 when you look out of my the window! i have full column most days, so i really dont see a problem for you! you also have the advantage of potential clients already in the salon#!
good luck !!
