Hi all! I trained in flirties eyelash extensions recently and completed my four case studies..... Although I still need practice to get quicker I've been really pleased with the results so far. However I did another friends today and noticed I had a lot more lashes getting stuck to the extension than - had had with my case study girls. I had a think about why this might be and I wondered if it was because she was so fair that I just wasn't noticing the odd stray lash when I was isolating???? I also think I might not have blotted away excess glue with.a cocktail stick as much as normal? I did wonder if it might be the glue getting old but fEel this is unlikely? Its flirties glue purchased for my course around a month ago. I'd love any feedback on why this may have happened with this client more than others! How do you avoid Stickies and what are common mistakes that cause them!? Thanks all! Xxxxx

You may be ready for a faster adhesive if you are applying faster and so getting other lashes stuck to the extension your adhesive has a 9 month shelf life so it's def not out if date

thank u! I did wonder if it might be done to moving a bit quicker! At least its not the glue! What other common errors can cause stickies? :) xx

Obviously not isolating the lashes properly and not holding them apart long enough for the glue to set off a bit. Too much glue as well but I find using the smaller microbrushes is better than the cocktail stick as they are more absorbant. :wink2:

I think lashes are difficult, they look easier than they are! You sound as if you are doing really well indeed, just needs time. I don't think that I am that good to be honest which is the first time in 18 years that I haven't felt confident in a treatment! :wink2:

aw thank you - don't get me wrong they're not perfect and need to get quicker to achieve fuller sets but I love doing them and will perserve - I reckon it must take tonnes of practice to get to a standard where you've got that real wow factor!! xx
