Hi just wondering what everyone prefers? what do you clients prefer for results and pain lol!

oh and laser soz!

Laser all the way! It's not painful or at least shouldn't be! If you go to a fully trained specialist it wil work without pain! A sligh feeling of an elastic band hitting the skin but from my experience it's defiantly bearable (and I'm a wimp with a very low pain threshold!)
Doesn't work for everyone though, the hair has to be suitable so in the cases of laser not working for some people electrolysis is another option.
Personally, from experience of doing electrolysis I don't find it very effective.
Ok for smaller areas or few hairs but very time consuming.
Laser can be expensive but quick and effective.

Electrolysis will always get the results, however it is important to see a skilled experienced practitioner. The newer electrolysis units that use pico flash, greatly reduce the skin reaction and are much more comfortable. Most of my clients are ex laser/ipl while they can get good results on leg, bikini, and underarm they still need to have electrolysis to complete the treatment. As for the face since this area can be hormonally influenced, laser/ipl does not seem to get the results, electrolysis should always be the first option, infact many clients i have seen have 'laser induced hair growth' around the neck area. Really laser and electrolysis can work together depending on hair growth and area, as always seek out the professionals.
