i have got my timings down and am now producing lovely sets of lashes

i plan to start offering lash services to the general public now, but not sure what i should charge for full, half, corner and infills

when practising on family/friends started off doing them free, then £10 and have recently been charging £25 for a full set and £15 for infills .. theyve known all along my prices would go up once i was confident was thinking charging £50 for a full set but do you think this is too much of a jump from 25 to 50?

also, i have decided perhaps in a year or so once i have got my timings right down i plan drop my other services which are not really paying atm and offer lashes and brow services exclusively and perhaps even rent some premises - would you say lash only speciliasts charge more than someone offering a whole spectrum of services?

many thanks

I think it depends on your area and if there is any competition.

I specialise in lashes and a lot of clients come to me for this reason.

However, there is a limit in my area to how high I can go with my prices.

Do your research & see what's on offer in your area. If you think you are worth more, charge more! £50 is a reasonable price for a full set.

Maybe rethink your infill price though. Would you be happy with £15 if you need to spend an hour infilling? Some clients return regularly and only need half an hour, others come less frequently and need longer. I charge my infills by time and find this works really well.

I think if you specialise, you will be worth more. However, you mind find that lashes will not keep your appointment book full ALL the time and you may need another service to fill those gaps.

From experience I never lower prices- it just makes it harder bumping them back up again. Can you not suggest say £40 if its going to be £50 full price and offer half price next infills or something? That way your practising and then getting a repeat client
