Hi geeks, I'm wondering if anyone can help me? I'm currently studying a level 2 in cosmetic makeup and would really love to practice on different people, what I would like to know is if a do a treatment for free on someone who isn't a friend or family, would I need insurance? Or is insurance only needed when I charge?

Hi Shabz, I would have thought you would need insurance if you are carrying out treatments on people regardless of if they are paying or not. It's always best to protect yourself .

Hi tinker bell thanx, I thought so too and have took out student insurance with ABT but it only insurers you when are under supervision, so don't really know how to go about it especially when tutors tell you need to practice on as many different face as you can lol
