When I go to upload a picture on a thread, it comes up with a message saying this action has been blocked by your forum administrator? I never used to have a problem and never uploaded an explicit image or anything so I'm not sure what's going on?

Mine has always said this thats y after 6 years of being a member of salon geek i still dont have a profile pic lol.

Just a couple of things to check first then ...
Do your photo files have the correct file extensions, ie. jpg, gif, bmp and are they sized correctly?

I'm trying to upload pics the exact same way as I used to be able to and in the same format so I can't understand why its now doing it. X

It wont even let me get as far a picking a pic as soon as i click on upload from gallery its says this feature is disabled by my forum administator.

The only ones that should be able to post pictures to threads are Premium Geeks.

The way I look at it is, I learn more from Salon Geek than any Nail Magazine I've ever subscribed to, so it's my way of giving a little back and it's not expensive... it's money well spent.

Just wanted to tag on to this that Premium Geeks have more photo capacity privileges than general geeks, as well as the other perks in the thread quoted above of course.

I am a premmie geek and I have always had this issue when trying to upload a picture from my samsung galaxy, the salon geek app I have is android. I created a thread on here ages ago in biz geek I think and contacted the powers behind salon geek and not had any feedback as to why this is so I'm at a loss still too :( xx

It may be to do with using the phone rather than the PC. Does it work from a PC?

Yeh I have no problems from the Pc. Its almost like its aGlitch in the android app as I know geeks with iphone/ipad done have issues uploading a pic from their gallery. X
