Hi,
I am just setting up a home salon and am hoping to use Eve Taylor for my facials. I have received some samples and they seem really nice products. Just wanted a bit do advice on what facials you offer. I'm in a salon at the min using espa and they have many different facials, is this the case with Eve Taylor if so what do you tend to offer to clients & do they change in price? Thanksx

I offer an express (30 minutes or 45 minutes), an Intensive (1hr 15 min) and a Total Luxury (1.5 hrs). Feel free to look at my website: www.beautybyamanda.co.uk for an idea of what i include but Eve Taylor will email you the facial protocols. x

Thanks that's great, I'll have a look at your website!:)

Hi, sorry but what do you mean by Eve Taylor will email you the facial protocols? I fear I'm being a little blonde here! xx

Sorry - they are treatment procedures/guidelines with lists of the products needed for each treatment.

I offer;

Express Facial (30 minutes, 1 TAO)
Prescriptive Facial (60 minutes, 2 TAO)
Specialised Prescriptive Facial (75 minutes, 3 TAO).

Xx

Sorry to bother you again, do you have to have trained with Eve Taylor to get these? I'm not able to do the training with them but I have an account and use their products, if I email and ask them, will they just send them out? Thanks xxx

No you don't need training with ET. As long as you have a trade account with them then email Chris Taylor, he will send them to you also any artwork you might need for brochures or for your website. ;-)

When you next do an order get the Navigator. It is their guide to all the products and also includes facial routines ... Well worth the money!

Thanks for that, been trying to decide whether to buy the navigator or the product manual so that's a great help xx

About 2 years ago I switched to Neal's Yard Organic Skincare as I realised that many clients wanted to go down the organic route. Basically you sign up as an Independent Consultant, then use the products whichever way you like, it use in your salon, sell direct either through the salon or through home parties etc. A large proportion of consultants are therapists and I find the clients love the products and often buy to continue their skincare at home. I can send you some info if you're interested.

Out of interest, NYO just do retail sizes and no professional use only products dont they? So anything you do in a treatment they can do at home themselves and save their money? Or have they changed it now to professional products too?

Either way I don't understand why you (not you Matt :p but in general) would want to carry a product line that the clients can buy basically anywhere

At the OP, Eve Taylor have different types of facials if you ring them I'm sure they will send you the navigator and facial protocols so you can see for yourself :)

Hi geeks,

Sorry for jumping in on this one. We currently do Dermalogica and Neals yard at our Wellbeing centre. We find the more 'holistic' clients love NYO and our beauty clients love Dermalogica, perfect! But NYO we don't really get a good deal with this once we have paid the VAT, and I pay my staff commission for selling the darn thing. Sorry to rant, but I do have a business to run......

So I have tried a few Eve Taylor oils as I'm a holistic therapist, and they are lovely!

Does Dermalogca work with Eve Taylor, and would it compliment the Holistic Side of my business? Would we be better off using this product for professional facials and retail??

Any advice would be muchly appreciated! X :D

You know the fantastic additives that you use in your Dermalogica treatments?
Well Eve Taylor makes them for dermalogica!
They are the same as Eve Taylor facial oils 1,3 and 5! (the recipe is only slightly different, for in all intents and purposes they are the same!)

Also, Eve is who created face mapping for Derm!

Oooo thanks Matthew! That is worth knowing.

I will ring them this morning to see if they can send me some samples to try! I do love the Neals Yard products, but financially its just not worth my while.

Naomi ;)

Can anyone give any more information on this, I am trying to put together a new facial menu on my price list but I currently only have the mobile kit so wonder what facials I can offer with that or what other products I need to buy.

Thanks
