This is my first play with Brisa, I did my conversion on Wednesday :)
Never used gel before, am an l&p girl lol and these are on my own nails which I find difficult anyway,

Would love some feedback on these.
I used the white gel on the thumb but POW on the fingers, and I think it looks bulky probably applied it too thickly.

Line of light is rubbish!! Found it trickier than with l&p for some reason

Ignore the shape of the nails, I didnt file them before hand and they're NNO's, I just wanted to play with the gel lol

But any helpful observations and tips will be much appreciated :)

It is trickier than L&P if all you've ever used its L&P.
Completely different technique.
Line of light can be fixed by filing which is no different to L&P.
I think for a first set with Gel, you have done a nice job that clients would be pleased with.
Now every new client you should do Brisa on them so you get to be an expert. Once you get it you don't loose it again.

Thanks Gigi

I think I could end up loving gel and am definately going to get as many onto it as I can.

Regarding the POW I'm guessing it's better to apply in 2 thin layers curing between each to avoid the bulk? The picture doesn't show it very well but it really does stand out  I found the white gel gave a much nicer finish.

I tend to only use White sculpting gel for enhancements but if you do use the POW then you use it JUST LIKE Shellac. Same rules apply. Float it on with practically nothing on the brush at all and if you need to do it twice for coverage, then lock for 10 secs. add the second layer, and then cure both for the 2 minutes. Works for me.

I will try that - thanks :)

Think I'll maybe use the POW on shorter NNO's only and use the gel for enhancements - might work better for me that way.
