im wanting to start m own business in hair extensions +beauty but only 18rs is that to young haa? any good tips ? thanks

Not sure if this will help, but there is a good post called 'more ways to promote your buisnes'
This helped for me.
I do nails, and to start with I practiced on family, did a leaflet and advertised in a local magazine. still waiting for clients from these tho.
For my regular lady I took her a leaflet to ask her opinion on, which she gave me, and at the same time booked me in. That was 2 months ago.

Good for you, you are not too young.
I've just set my own business up and I think you just learn as you go. I also think hmrc run free courses about how to run a business plus you could also speak to an accountant for some advice.
The first point of call is to get yourself registered as self employed with hmrc and get some public liability insurance . The beauty guild or salon gold are worth looking at.

Iam in the same position hun I'll be 19 this year and I am just finishing setting up my home salon. I thought I was too young to but you've got to start somewhere!!
