Hello everyone!

Thought id start a thread just to see what all you lovely ladies think are important dates for putting offers on?

Such as prom events, ladies day?

Do you know when these events happen and what other event happen im trying to sort outa best time to offer packages etc

Any help would be appreciated!

This is a really good idea, I know the obvious - mothers/fathers day, Easter, Christmas, new year etc but wouldn't have a clue when ladies day and any other special dates are. Will be watching this thread closely!

I'd have a look at your local school and college (uni's?) websites for dates of proms, leaving parties, graduations etc.

Get hold of the local papers and scour it for upcoming events as well.

You can then pre-empt the events and specifically mention them in your marketing to trigger peoples thinking.

p.s. We're not all ladies here :)

Where I am the proms are from mid May to early July. Ladies Day is mid to late August. Work Christmas parties are usually mid to late November.
I found that january payday was quite busy, everyone had been poor for a montha nd wanted to break free!!

One event/theme that works really well for me is Chocolate Week (8-14th October).
Not only do I get lots of bookings for my chocolate treatments in the salon, I now get a fair few orders for my hand made chocolate skincare products :)

IMHO you can never have too much chocolate!

I am always busiest around event and holiday times proms etc so never put offers on. If you promote yourself enough these times will be busy anyway so charging less, doing packages etc is just shooting yourself I. The foot xx
