Hi Geeks,

I am a Nail Tech, along other treatments....

I have long natural nails and wear Shellac ALL the time.

I can't wear Minx alone as my nails will break and of course beautiful Shellac keeps them strong :)

Q. Can I place Minx OVER Shellac'ed nails??

Thanks Geeklettes xx

I'm not 100% sure but my guess would be no. Minx is applied to a dehydrated nail plate which you obviously cannot do with Shellac on. That's my guess like I said but someone will correct me if I'm wrong. PGx

Yes, Happyfeet is correct, there are Minx made specifically for using over something else, including Shellac.

Plus, it has been mentioned how using shellac under the nail can even out ridges for having a nicer finish under the plain colours.

Minx can be applied over CND Shellac in fact there are beautiful range designed by The Naja which are a see through lace design which looks fantastic over the colours.

You would completely finish your CND Shellac application wipe the inhibition layer the apply the Minx.
