I have a client who wants to go purple from a full head majicontrast copper. The copper has been cleansed to leave a bright yellow, how light will this need to be for a bright purple....will it be ok to apply on top of the yellow or will it need to be pre lightened to a pale yellow/white....if possible??

Agree with blue very pale yellow like the inside of a banana :-) if there is any coppery tones it wont be a true purple x

I have only just seen this lol the way I work with crazy colours is to add the main colour to the bowl then ask the client what they fancy, I normally do it infront of them then swipe the brush down a piece of foil and let them decide if they like more pink/purple or more red etc - they like being involved in the mixing of them I find!
