Wella - difference between Colour Touch/Colour Touch Plus?

I wonder whether one of you lovely Wella experts could please explain to me in simple terms, if there is an obvious difference between these two products?

My hairdresser very kindly applies my colour for me, even though I am the one who buys it.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, when I went to buy my colour, they did not have it in Colour Touch (3/66) but did in Colour Touch Plus (44/06). Basically, I would like to know if there would be a dramatic change in colour between the two or just a subtle one please?

3/66 is darker than the 44/06

The purple won't be as strong in the 44/06 :)
