View Full Version : OPI Gelcolor over hard gel extension, can you?
How much more would you charge to have a gel polish put over a set of hard gel extensions instead of a normal varnish? Has anyone tried this also if the gel polish is soaked off would it affect the hard gel extension underneath?? How would you go about re balancing the hard gel after two weeks?
Also of questions i know but just wondered if anyone had come across the same issues??

I put the OPI gelcolor over my own extensions an then their top coat it was fab. I wouldn't charge any different than if I'd of used one of my normal gel colours tbh.
Didn't effect the extensions underneath an I also didn't bother soaking it off, just buffed it off an rebalanced as normal :)

Yes you can use Gelcolor over HG enhancements. You will have to file it off though. I would actually charge a bit more because of the expense of the product. A bottle of Gelcolor or gel polish costs 2-3 times more than a bottle of regular polish.
