Hi geeks,
This may be a total coincidence, but I seem to develop hay fever like symptoms after I have completed a nail service, does anyone know if nail dust can cause allergic rhinitis?

It is not a coincidence.
Of course it can. Any kind of dust is irritating.
Lay the dust with Solar Oil before you start filing and voilá no dust.
Aim for doing the perfect nail with your brush and you will have far less dust. Work smart not hard.

Can I just add a stupid question?
Err 2 maybe…
Lay it with solar oil, sorry I’m a bit thick! Do U apply oil to whole nail surface before filing?
But how do U do when U do a infill, or remove ? I do to have severe allergies and I have a suction table and always wear a mask filing, but some dust always slips away. And I end up having dust in my face… I have a mini Hoover frequently working over my workspace hunting the dust.
Can I in any way make it more dust free?

iF YOU MAKE GREAT NAILS WITH YOUR BRUSH YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO MUCH FILING.
IF THERE IS NO LIFTING THEN PREP FOR REBALANCE IS NOT VERY DUSTY.
IT ALL COMES WITH SKILL AND EXPERIENCE.

But I have to file a lot, I don’t do much white french, mostly colors and nailart. And I have to file to be able to change the color…

Instead of filing ... Clip off the free edge file the shape of the new smile line and then add a form and sculpt a new colour ... Hardly any dust at all :D
