Hi guys,

I'm doing a course in gelish polish beginning of September and have been told to think carefully about the kit I want to order by the trainer. I've been told there are 3 types of lamps, the most expensive one is more for salon use, and I will be mobile. This leaves the cheapest one and the middle one and I just wondered if anyone can recommend which one I should go for, obviously I'm tempted by the cheapest one however if the second one is way better in an experienced gelish manicurist's opinion, then I will consider spending a little more! What do you guys reckon?

:) xx

I have the 18g LED lamp which is great but expensive. I'm not sure if the 6g lamp cures 5 fingers at once - something that is definitely worth checking as it saves so much time.

I asked a similar question earlier hun :) I was told the mini pro is not great, the 6G is good but only cures 4 fingers, so have to do thumbs separately and the 18G is fab!!! However, my budget won't stretch that far at the moment and I need a lamp urgently :( so I'm going for the CND shellac lamp as I'm not quick enough to warrant an led lamp anyway yet. I can also add shellac to my list of treatments if I decide I want to If I have the CND lamp xxx
