Advice on freelance recruitment!!

Hello, Ive been freelance hairdresser and beauty therapist for 10 years I would like to take a step back and would like to manage a team of hairdressers and beauty therapists. Could any one give advice?? I did try it once but made big mistake of hiring friends when I had new borns!!, I did it commision based, Im deciding to try again now my children are starting school. Any advice would be greatly aprieciated!

Do you mean that you want to hire other mobile freelancers? Not sure how that would work? Surely they would be better off doing mobile work themselves rather than just getting commission from you?

How would you keep your eye on them? How would you know if they did a good job?

Perhaps it would work better if you employed them?
