Hi geeks ive been using shellac on myself for the last 6 weeks, and last night when i re-shellaced i did notice on one or two nails tiny patched of dehydration.

I use solar oil 3-4 times a day since removing my acrylics and my nails have improved alot, just still have weak free edges which are slowing improving.

What im wondering is can you over oil your cuticles?

Is there a limit to how much oil they can in?

Weird question i know lol, but just wondering if too much can damage in the long run.

I don't think you can over do it, although applying it too often would probably just be a waste of oil, your skin and nails can only absorb so much. 3-4 times a day would be plenty. Dont forget to pop a bit under the free edge too to help with dehydration and to care for the hyponychium xxx

You can never overdo oil on cuticles. But I agree, it is just using up alot of oil. Applying twice daily is sufficient!
