View Full Version : How much coverage would 1 60ml tube do

hi ive just been thinking roughly on average how much do you use on one head of full colour tint? i know it will be different depending on density etc but just on average how much do you start of with and on average how much do you use? im using wella

I use schwarzkopf a tube is 60ml I have some clients with short hair I use 3/4 of a tube right upto my bfs sis which I need 2 tubes to do her roots if I had to do her ends it would be 3 tubes ,most people I use a tube :-D

It all depends on length & density i had mine coloured from red to brown && my stylist ysed 71/2 tubes "/ ( i have very long extremely high density hair!

I'd of died!! Matrix are 90 ml and I use 2 for a full head, Tigi are 60ml and use 1- 1/2 they spread easier! And feel
Like silk on the hair

My poor hairdresser was fed up! Took hours! ... Length wise its around 19 1/2 inches; and very high density && i dont have it thinned at all!
I use wella 60ml tubes & i use on average 2-3 for a full head x

This is for mostly roots if u r going all the way though or changing the colour u will have to gaige it depending on the amount of hair ,also as said before some products spread further that others. U will start to get a better idea the more colour work u do :-D

Yes true well i must be unlucky 4 of my friends have extremly thick hair and lots of it when you wash it it feels like a horses mane lol doing one with highlights this sat but alternate bleach and colour so will probz need 2 tubes xx

The way Tigi makes the hair feel after is amazing, I've one lady with what only can be described as spiral pubes for hair! And it converted it to silky pubes! A lot easier to blowdry! X

Im scared to use anything else because only been taught so far with wella do you use tigi do you have a break down of the diffrent colours like some one posted the other day about wella if you do that would be amazing :-) xx

i new you used matrix :) as you have mentioned it alot lol but i find it hard to get hold of in my area tigi alan howards stock xx

of course with a Wella high lift you use twice the amount of developer, so it will go further.:D

Is that the same with colour touch because thats 1 part colour 2 parts developer x
