Highlight help, Wella colours

Hi,

I have a 5 on my hair at the minute. I want some highlights but whenever ive had highlights in the passed it goes yellowy or caramel like.

I want light blond highlights kinda like this (see link below)

Will I need to use bleach and if so what toner. (Wella toner if possible)

Yes you'll need to use bleach to lift up over a base 5 and as regards to what toner, it all depends on how light the bleach lifts :)

My hair does take quite well...but goes that orangy yellowy colour....im thinkins an 8/81? will that be light enough?

If it were me, I'd use something on a base 9 :)

how come? what would you use to get that blonde in the pic xx

I'd use something on the base of a 9, depending on how the bleach lifted up and add an ash into the 9 if required, but it's your choice at the end of the day :)
