Hi,

My client is a full head of the wella koleston perfect 12/11. She is now wanting to go for a highlighted effect with a few different blonde tones. So basically still quite blonde but with highlights. I'm quite scared she won't like it and don't want to do anything too dramatic to begin with. I was going to do half a head of foils using pastel bleach, 12/89 on root with 9.3 on the ends and 7.3. What would anyone else suggest? I was going to do a few pastel foils, then a 7.3 without a gap (fine slice), pastel and then the 12/89. Please help!!

You've over complicated things, what look are you going for?

It sounds like you're going to do too many colours. Maybe do 1 foil hi-lift and one foil on a base 7 or 8 (7/0 and 7/7 comes out nice over hi lift) :)

Hey, she had in mind Alex Curran's hair. How do you think it'll be easier?

Thanks :) would you use 12/89 as the high lift?

why not stick to 12/11 and just add another darker shade:?:

Yes, I agree with Rach, stay with 12/11 :) and when she's got used to being slightly darker, then you can introduce other shades :)
