Hi, Sorry this may be really silly. I have just finished level 2 beauty and want to start offering treatments.
I must admit iv never had a pedicure at a salon yet.
When i was in college we soaked feet in a bowl lol. Then the client use to be seated/laying on the couch with back rest up.
How does everyone else do theirs? Also what do you use to soak feet? I am just looking for a cheapish option at the moment.

My client sits in a chair and I sit on a stool. I soak their feet in a foot spa which has disposable liners (but this is expensive - you can use a bowl or normal foot spa but be sure to sterilise it between use.) Good luck with your business.

I used to sit my client on a chair and me on a stool but it used to be bad on my back, so I know sit the client on my bed with there feet over the side with my foot bath on a table, much easier for me x

I don't do pedicures but I'm hope that disinfecting would be sufficient. How do you sterilise things?

I used to have us both on chairs but it killed my back. So now because of my tiny room I have the client on my chair, soak her feet in the foot bath, do all my wet stuff scrubbing etc then dry feet and get them on the bed for all the dry stuff, cutting, cuticles, massage, painting etc. then I'm using the chair. It was a bit of a muddle at first but now it just flows easily. If kneeling on the floor for the scrubbing and soaking isn't an option you could use a chair for this, just gives me more room using one chair.

I think the poster meant disinfect as sterilizing would be useless overkill for a pedicure bowl :p

I sit my client on a chair and I sit in a little footstool and use a foot spa that I disinfect after I have done. But when I paint their nails I just kneel on the floor as I find it easier than having their foot on my knee when painting x
