Hi guys my friend has just had shellac French mani done at a salon but it's awful! It's her birthday tomorrow hence she got it done. She's really gutted so has asked me of I can quickly take it off and just polish a French mani.
Will accetone work? This could be silly but I don't offer shellac so not a clue!!

Yes acetone will take it off......have a look on YouTube for shellac removal using cotton wool and tin foil....soaks off in 10 minutes💛💙💜

You will need cotton wool pads, acetone and tin foil. Soak the pads in acetone then wrap around nail, secure with foil and leave on for full 10 minutes. It would be worth looking at tutorials on YouTube also as previous poster said. I hope you can get them sorted for her!

just going to add to make sure they're tight. and twist back and forth as you slide the foil off. Makes less work when you use a birchwood stick to flick the remainder off. then use a cotton pad with acetone to remove any remaining bits because you don't want to scrape the nail plate.

Brill thank you guys gonna watch some YouTube vids. Don't want to ruin her nails. The therapist didnt charge her full price as she wasn't even happy with them, if that was me I'd of sorted them!x
