Split acrylic nails

Hi everyone!!!
I've just qualified so I'm not sure this is why I'm asking. I done a set of acrylic nails on someone last week and they fell over and have split both the acrylic nail and there own nail in half. She said its very painful but wants a new one on right away!! Can I do this the same day? Or do I ask her to come back in a couple of days when it's healed up a little? I'm a mobile beautician so I work on my own that's why I'm asking you wonderful people! Also does my insurance cover me if I was to do it the same day?

If she has split her nail and it's sore I wouldn't do it on the same day. Id remove the nail and let them heal before reapplying x

Thank you!!! That's what I did do in the end! I'm so glad that was right! It looked too painful to have another one put on there!
