So here I am sat watching Nails Inc on QVC in awe of the manicurist applying a perfect polish to the model in 0.5 seconds :-/
I can see as she applies the polish towards the cuticle, first she dabs the polish across the base in a line then drags out to the free edge. Does anyone else do this?
Yep sometime I dab it a little near the cuticle to get quite close and then pull it up the nail x

Could you elaborate a bit more? I'm trying to picture it but cant.
I use the traditional method of fanning your brush downwards towards the cuticle to get the cuticle shape then quickly sweepting the brush down the centre and off of the free edge, then fanning the brush sideways to get a neat line down the sidewall and sweeping the brush the full length of the nail, and repeat down the other side wall, then cap the end (simply put, a strip down the middle and one down each side and cap). I can paint nails pretty quickly, but dont mind taking an extra few seconds here and there to make sure its precise

It's almost as if she doesn't fan the brush at all. She just gets the colour and dab dab dab in the middle to the right then back to the left along the cuticle to get the neat line then goes back in the bring it out to the free edge.

Yes it was like that video!
How can she get such a perfect line by dabbing :( jealous. More practice for me then! :D
