Glued to the floor
I really HATE nailglue and tips!!
Today I had a client who insist on those horrible white tips. Ekk don’t like at all!
I must have fiddled with the gluebottle and not cap it well because I glued myself to the floor..

I have my salon at home and today I was doing my nailart design exams , because of the wheelchair I can’t do the exams in the classroom so instead I did the set at home and was recorded with the cam. I sat there and worked on my trainerhand smiling and enjoyed myself . did hear something fell to the floor but didn’t really pay attention . when finished I tried to move away from the table and I was stuck. The thing fell was an glue bottle and one of my wheels are glued tight to the floor. My hubby had to remove the table, lift me up and get my in a other wheelie and then try to remove my wheel. Tried alcohol no luck, the rubber in the wheels don’t like acetone I can imagine.
So what to dooooo? How can I resolve the glue and make my wheels go smother again ? it is a big pool of glue a full 26 g bottle, the wheel is stuck!!
Hmm maybe U can have a big laugh at this and then something good come out of it! But please say something smart to resolve the glue I need my wheelie and I need my salon in the morning..

Could you get a knife and chip it off the floor? What type of flooring do you have? My boyfriend suggested try to melt it with a hair dryer but I think that's stupid.

Try it with acetone. Shouldn't damage the wheel if you rinse it once it's up x

Im afraid i have no usefull advide. But it is rather funny im giggling to myself sorry :-). Can it not be pride off. X

Oh dear sounds like you've had a nice day! Can your partner try and maybe file it with a nail file some how?
Didn't want to read and run but that's the only thing I could think of.

haha thats so funny, I'm so sorry to laugh at your misfortune but thankyou for sharing you have really cheered me up!!

I would imagine that your tyres would be ok with acetone because I guess they will be rubber rather than plastic? Alternatively could you try heating the glue with a hairdryer to soften/melt it, then scrape the bulk of it away with a knife and wipe the rest away with an acetone soaked bit of couch roll?

I do hope you get moving again!!

It’s loose!!
We had to take a go with acetone, and It worked to loosen the wheel from the floor the magic E-file has done a run for the money …
We think it gonna be ok. Maybe I can use some solar oil on the rubber to make it soft and prevent cracks ?? the wheel is a little white and dry..
Why does this things always happen to me??

Sorry, I know I shouldn't laugh. But I couldn't help myself. It's not everyday you hear someone glue themselves to the floor.

I did something similar with putting tips on a client, and it was well less tip. So unbeknown to me, the glue ran down the back of the tip onto my finger. When I went to move my Hand, I was glued to the client haahahaha. Needless to say, we both saw the funny side and just laughed!!

These things happen, I hope you got it sorted?

Oh Annie,
What a drama. Glad u got it sorted. A bit of oil on your wheel would be a great idea. The rubber probably needs a bit of reconditioning after acetone.

Well today I can laugh about it! I got a nice stain on my lovely woodfloor , my tire is a bit harsh and make an odd sound, need to replace the tire I think.
From now I refuse doing tips of any kind I think, I like to sculpture nails, and have just 2 ladies insisting in those horrible white tips with hearts and stars punched out, maybe I will just drop them and run over them everybody knows I’m a bit clumsy. I’m already out of glue ..

Oh ladies it’s all right to giggle and laugh, U should have seen my hubby, he rolled on the floor and laugh so the tears just squirted ..
Well new day hope I can avoid stupid dramas today.. I hope passing the exam and become an advanced nailart tech
