I posted on here a couple of days ago. To cut a long story short, been using booster drops which haven't made a difference at all to some of my clients to begin with but more recently me. So on Wednesday I ordered Nouvatan 16%. On my stomach I did a line of Sunless Solutions 8% then 10% then 12% then a line of the nouvatan 16%.
Washed it off this morning and the 10, 12 and 16 all look the same and are definitaley not very dark. Started panicking because I'd promised my clients tonight that I would find them something darker than the 12%. Contacted them and told them what had happened but they wanted to go ahead with the appointment (3 spray tans at once). On the drive over I was really worried as I can't afford to lose clients. so I was thinking, why am I not going darker? I gave birth 13 weeks ago but have not been breastfeeding so my hormones should have settled down... or have they!
What did I do six weeks after giving birth, got the contraceptive implant put in my arm which takes 3-6 months for your hormones to become balanced again!!! Big DERRRR!
I was so relieved to get to my clients and explain why it hadn't worked on me and even more pleased when I'd finished the tans and they were delighted with the immediate result. Just going to wait for an update tomorrow now.
Also feel bad now as it was mine and the hubbys first year anniversary four weeks ago. He had done me a tan (which has always turned out perfect before) and it went all patchy and streaked. Mr D felt awful as I couldn't wear the dress I had bought (I didn't tell him off though as let's face it... it's not his day job!).
It never crossed my mind that it would affect it but I can add it to my consultation cards nows!!!
