I wear acrylics, and when I am doing clients nails they just get destroyed. I wear pink and whites and use a gel clear so the actual color of my nails isn't the priblem. It is when I more when I do shellac. When I am usuing acetone to remove the shellac it eventually makes layers of my acrylic peel off and lift just on like the 2 or 3 fingers that the acetone touches. Any suggestions??

I constantly destroy my nails. My worst is middle finger right hand. It seems to almost rot around the cuticle from how I hold my brush and index finger left hand goes a funny shape if I wear square acrylics as I file into it!
I used to use tecnail wrap but it drove me mad. I have just Last week removed all my acrylics and have opi gelcolor on and it has lasted me brilliant.
Think it's just something that as nail techs we have to put up with lol xx

I use tech nail wrap when doing a lot of filing as always scuff my own nails with the file although I do try to be careful. When using the CnD soak off wraps I wear gloves and that kind of stops the dsolve from being in contact with my nails too much but I immediatley rinse my hands after to remove anything just in case

Also when applying scrub fresh etc hands down pads are amazing as you can apply the product without touching the actual pad of product.

I use tech tape over my middle finger on my left hand - it always ends up disfigured from filing!

Do you use the remover wraps?

If not those, along with a pump-action lid on the bottle of dsolve should negate the problem.
