Hello all!
This is my first post so fingers crossed that some of you have some wonderful advice for me. I'm fairly new to Shellac and I'm keen to do everything as professionally as possible.
My question is regarding the removal. Currently I am removing using lint free pads soaked in dsolve and wrapped in foil. This is easy enough but I find it messy and not terribly professional. That said, I think the CND remover wraps are simply too pricey for me at this stage.
I am thinking of trying the Magis Wraps and wondered if anyone could explain the difference between the finger and toe wraps? I haven't done any finger removals thus far. All toes. It is definitely a toe wrap I need and was simply wondering if the difference was in sizing.
Thank you so much in advance! :D

Hey just a quick tip. The lint free pads won't hold much remover. I use cotton wool pads pulled in half to expose the fuzzy centre and apply my remover to this then the foil. It holds more product. Have your foil Pre cut and then with each nail u remove ease the shellac off into that piece of foil do no mess.

Hi,
I use Magis Wraps at the moment and yes the difference between fingers and toes is the size. I find I have to use a finger wrap for my big toe then toe wraps for the rest.
My only criticism would be that the pad on the toe nail wrap doesn't always remain in the same place once soaked with DSolve so you have to make sure it does cover the nail when applying.
I will probably change to CND wraps when they the new quantity for the same price packs become available.

Thank you for the replies ladies. Much appreciated. I shall definitely order some.
Yummy Mummy, I do pretty much employ your method with the exception of the lint free pads instead of cotton because, with experimentation, I have actually found them more effective. My colleague has also recently moved to using the lint free squares as she found her removals were also easier using them in place of cotton. I don't know why. Maybe because they seem to stay in place better? Maybe the acetone gets to the nail more rather than being 'held' in the pad as they are not as absorbant?? Maybe, it's just us. I guess different methods are going to work differently depending upon who is employing them huh? I'm very grateful for your advice though!! Thank you!

I used Magi Wraps and think I went wrong somewhere... took me 2 hours to do a removal and re-varnish! Trying cotton wool (with fuzzy side exposed) and foil on my next removal...!
I use magi wraps - and use the finger ones for both fingers and toes. I think they're great and look more tidy than using pads and foil. You can also get them from nail harmony.
