Hi all,
Just wondered how you all advertise? I only do a couple of evenings at the moment as I work full time in an office but I would like to eventually do more Gelish and less office! I have a few clients but not sure what's the best way to advertise. Most of my ladies have come via word of mouth. I've got a FB page but I don't seem to have got any clients through it. Not sure about advertising in the local paper as it's quite expensive and I think you would need to do it every week to catch people. Any ideas? ;)

I've got a facebook page have over 100 likers but no where near that many have actually come to me probably just being nosy. I dont really like facebook as it seems to be all people who want something for nothing but the page is free so I will keep it.
My son starts playgroup in Sept so I will have a lot more time to focus on my business. My plans for advertising is get a website, I have lots of little free booklets that come through my door that you can advertise in so I might do that. They are around £30 for 6 months so well worth it.
I also have a refer a friend scheme

I mostly use my facebook page, I have a large family and my friebds always recommend me. I'm lucky that way. You could try and leaflet drop, with an introductory offer or something?
I also have a refer a friend scheme
How do you work your refer a friend scheme?
I thought about this but wasn't sure how to do it. xx

Once the friend has their treatment I give the client who referred them a 20% discount. I mainly do shellac. I charge £25 so it makes their next treatment £20. I find it works really well.

That's a good idea, think I'll try that! I think I will also try offering Gelish parties and charge £15 each for 5 people and do the host free. I'm thinking at least I'll earn £75 and should take 3-4 hours as I can do a set in half an hour with no soak off. Might get some new clients. :)
