Hey everyone :)

I have a salon which has been open for nearly two months; I don't really have a huge clientele but the clients I do have love coming to me.

In the town I live in there is a lot of competition and around 5 Cheap discount nail bars. I want to do something different at my salon to make people want to come to me, but im out of ideas. I have tried doing weekly offers and half price treatments but im don’t know what to do next.

Any help please :)

P.s any advise for locating old posts? I cannot find my previous post's I have done.

if there are lots of "cheap discount salons" in your area where you just basically get a cheap set of nails why dont you go for the more pampering approach??offer a hand and arm massage with all manicures/gel etc and maybe do eye masks with pedicures??

these things wont cost you much, a little hand cream and re usable eye masks....and clients will feel as if they are getting a pampering rather than just their nails done xx

I'm going to do brewed coffee, special teas and wine with certain treatments in my new salon. Know it isn't necessary but think it will make a difference. Also little extras like warm towels, I'm even thinking of having a iPad/android for them to read while having pedis with free wifi. I will be charging a premium price though.
