Hi

I'm really interested in doing some courses in nails, at the moment I have 2 young children 8mths and 2 years so feel I won't have enough time to practice acrylics so I'm wondering are you able to do causes in shellac and minx without any other qualifications? I would love to also learn acrylics but in a few years.

I'm in Cornwall

Thanks
Nic

You still need to be a licensed nail tech to offer shellac and minx. Both offer continuing education classes to nail techs, and I love both products. Anyway, I'm in the U.S. so I can't give you any specifics. I know it's frustrating when you don't get replies to your question though ;)
I took a night course to get my nail license. You can always practice acrylics at home (on a practice hand) even if it's after the kids are asleep. I would be concerned about their exposure to the smell though. Hopefully you have a well ventilated room away from their bedrooms maybe??
