Has anyone ever had a new scissor disaster??
I've just had new scissors and I've given my finger a good chop!!! Butterfly stitches and regular Dr visits were needed ...I've had the scissors checked and there fine ...very scared to use them now though ...I'll put a pic on if ure nit squeamish lol x

What scissors? I lost my knuckle with my new ones 2 years ago x

Iv not had such trouble but have had some good cuts off new scissors, kept with them and now am fine, I think it's that your so used to your scissors and every little characteristic, new scissors have different balance and haven't been "moulded" to you, I know it's scary but keep with your new best friend. I replaced mine like for like last time and still cut myself and blamed te balance being different.
It may sound mad, but go back to basics, the first week of your education, sit at home with your scissors and snip back ad forth all night, this helped me and I got my balance really quick and the cuts got less and less.

I can't remember what there were there in the car lol....my old scissors are basic shaped these are the fancy shape...I actually hate them and don't think they slice as nice....I'm going to get my old ones sharpened I think as I've had them years and years ....the cuts just starting to heal Thanku ....my bad was I carried on working and went to have it checked next day so It couldn't be stitched ....I've got a morning off tomorrow so going to let the air get to it as its hard to keep it dry in our job....I've had a good giggle with family's washing there one hair though lol x
Poor you hope your healing quickly I've just taken my paper stitches off due to lack of concentration (too busy gabbing) its that horrible feeling of not wanting to look at how bad it is and just wanting to cry lol, sending hugs xx
Thanku ::) I had to look there was blood everywhere even across the kitchen were it squirted lol....my stupid other half made me cry when I got home messing with it...and wrapping it up saying it's fine ...oh I know yeah when there's blood dripping down my arm...wont be listening to him again ha! I was being so careful with the poor lad who has a really bad scalp so I wasn't concentrating at all x

just be careful where you have them sharpened just had two pairs done and they are totally ruined:Scared:going to try send them back to manufacture to see if they can put them through original process??? i have just bought a new pair which i love:hug: but hav had a few cuts along the way!!!
