Where the hell are you buying the hair if you can justify a full head for that price?

Sorry don't mean to sound rude but that is crazy prices. I thought I was reasonable but I don't do this full time it's more of a side line.

At my budget but trust worthy supplier it costs around £90 - £100 ((16")) for the hair and that's without fitting.......

I don't see why your struggling for business unless ppl are but off thinking the hair must be bad as its so cheap......

Unfortunately it's a hard business now as there are so many extensionists now but if your or already get some flyers out, advertise on facebook etc I used to do my friends hair she would pay for the hair but I wouldn't charge her to fit them instead she would come out for a day with me into town and I would hand flyers out etc with her so people could see the hair itself must admit I got quite a few consultations booked in that day not did that for coupe of years though as have a steady clientele now but was grea at the time I got us both t shirts with my business name on it xx

I have been advertising just on Facebook at min as trained in may, and done two so far, but still need a bit more practise. I'm doing half price maintenance throughout August if book in for full head, also give them a mini after care kit ( included in price that is ) :) x

your prices are really cheap I wouldn't do any offers on that!!
i charge more per fitting, and I alternate between things like "free" aftercare pack (I count this into my price however, so I do still get paid for it, I'm not losing £30 but the client pays no extra) or 5-10% off if 2 book at once, or sometimes half price maintenence. All however are factored into my cost quoted to the client.
Also once you have built your client base and confidence and skills, I wouldnt give 2 hoots what the going rate is in your area, my area there are so many "extensionists" doing full head fittings incl hair for £100, but you know what? people still come back to me who charges considerably more! x

At those prices, people will think you are a "messer" not a pro. Would you really work for 3 hours for £30? That would equate to £7.50 for a cbd. Way too cheap.
I charge £280 plus the cost of the hair to fit a full head, £220 plus hair for a half head. The aftercare is an extra £35 on top.

My prices are somewhat in line with Persianistas. I take the cost of the hair and add £300 for my fitting which includes a 'free' aftercare pack (which is actually factored into the £300), works out to about the same.

Even though my clients are willing to pay anything up to £1000 for a full head, depending on the hair they go for, they still like to think they have something for free!... ie, the aftercare pack which is beautifully packaged and makes clients feel treated.
