Maybe worth saying a time to repeat offenders then booking them in for 15 mins or so after then x

I would politely say when you next rebook them that if they can't make that time to call and let you know as you have a solid day and may have to reschedule their time otherwise.

For repeat lateness i start telling them their appointment time is 15 mins earliar than actually is, works a treat they are then on time!

When the late offenders rebook, thats the time to say that if they dont turn up on time, they will leave you unable to carry out the service booked as your not prepared to rush and give them a poor service.
This works for me most of the time, however for those that continue to be late they get told that i cant fit them in for the service requested as my next client is due in and ask if they would like to rebook again.

If these are regulars that are turning up late a swift reminder by putting them out in not being able to do the service will make them realise its bad manners to be late and not fair on anyone else.

Dont be afraid to politely ask them to be on time.Your running a business at the end of the day.

I have a lady who is always 10 minutes late and yesterday id squeezed her in as she left booking her pedicure very late! I had no room for running late so when she just strolled in late and didn't apologise i politely said "oh because your late Im going to have to cut your treatment short, so would you rather me miss out the parraffin or the polish?" she seemed shocked but apologetic as if it had never occurred to her that i actually do other clients and i don't just sit around waiting for her all day!
I think sometimes people just don't realise how difficult it can make things! I have a feeling she won't be late again :-P and she pre booked her next 2 appointments :-)
