Hey geeks

Can you put the So Reds on the scalp? I know you can use it for pieces/highlights, and that you can add it too so colour to intensify a colour.

Have a client that wants a full head colour and unsure to do it or not.

No these must not be used on the scalp! Can cause a severe sensitivity!! You could try adding some to a red shade for added vibrancy! ;)

Thanks we rang up the matrix help line and they said we could, She said it will stain the scalp. Sounded like she didn't have a clue.

No never use them on the scalp. Use one of the + range. 7rr+ is nice x

it doesnt state wether u can or cant, i also asked my rep and she said yes you could!? BUT i never have and never would as ingredients is almost exactly the same as majicontrast! use rr+ range with red booster x

I was told you can but no higher than 20vol x

yes as Bluerinse has said use no more higher than 20 vol and you can put on the scalp but be careful as of staining, brilliant color house Matrix

I use so red on the scalp. But I would be wary of using this on sensitive clients because it does make your scalp tingle x
