Hello Geeks

I am a qualified therapist but looking for a little advice myself, hopefully from someone much more experienced with skin than I am.

A few years ago I burnt pretty badly on my nose, despite wearing sunscreen and very rarely burning damnit, but it has left me with pigmentation across my nose. I can usually hide it with foundation but struggle when I get a tan as it highlights it or when I get so hot that my foundation slides off!

I am looking for a more permanent solution and wondering what you would advise?

Products, treatments like peels etc?

Please help, I really cant stand o look at it any more!

Try a chemical peel - I used MD formulations and that worked really well on some skin, and also has great home-care products that work alongside. It is a relatively gentle peel, and you can get stronger solutions, but, without seeing a picture of your skin, can't really say if it will work in your case.

Regarding make up coming off, I would definately recommend bare escentuals. I have been using this for about 10 years now, and find the staying-power fabulous.

If the pigmentation is really bad, you could always try a laser treatment, but, as I have never trained down this route, I cant give you any constructive help with this option.

Thankyou Kindly Geeks.

I will look in to both of these. Any one else able to offer any advice?

IPL photorejuvenation would remove it.

Could you possibly elaborate on this for me?

Thankyou
