Hi guys,

I've been doing eyelashes for 2 months and I feel quite confident in them. I've been using glam lash glue, however, I've heard a few folk say they're not lasting the two weeks until infill.

Is it my technique or the glue? I'm dipping the lash into glue and then coating the natural eye lash with the false..and then placing on top. It dries pretty quickly.

I did party lashes on Friday eve and used semi-perm glue as they had no glue left in the salon....but they fell out after 2 days....I'm a bit worried that I'm doing something wrong :(

I would seriously consider investing in a better quality glue, there are alot of threads on SG regarding glues and you can also search on here peoples experience with Glam Lash glue. xx

Thanks folks.

I've ordered flirties glue so I'm going to see how I get on with that. Are sealants THAT important?? I know some folk swear my them x

I don't use sealant, my lashes are lasting so I don't think I'd buy a sealant to be honest.

Are you removing make up with oil free remover / priming lashes? even though you tell clients to come with naked eyes I can always see traces of old mascara so I like to cleanse to make double sure, then I prime.

I use beauty revolution glue, this seems to be working well for me so I don't intend on changing.

Hope you sort your problem x

I'm also having the problem with lashes not staying on for very long :(

I've only been lashing for a few weeks though and presumed it was because I'm not doing quite a full set yet.

I use Lash Perfect Odour Free Glue...perhaps I should change? Or just keep practising?
