Hi Everyone,
I currently have two treatment room (one in my home and one i rent) it's getting quite busy at my home salon and now i am considering merging the rooms into just my home salon in January. This would save me travelling costs as my other treatment room is 30min away and i pay rent for it.
I have already discussed somewhat with my clients in the rental treatment room and most have said they would have no problem travelling to see me so yay!
How and when should i break the news to the owners of the rental treatment room? i have no contract/lease with them as they are family friends.
Also i would still have an opportunity to rent on commission base (15%) one day a week or one day a month (my choice) at the rental treatment room. Do you think this is a good idea?? i'm thinking just incase some clients don't want to travel to me they could at least get stuff done close to them.
This would just be for manicure and pedicures as they had made it clear a few months ago that when i leave they are replacing me with a tanning bed lol. Should i get them to buy the manicure table and pedicure chair off me since it will be at the rental all the time with people going in and out? clearly i won't be keeping products or anything there, just the table and chair will stay there.
