"my sister takes risks Hairdressers won't like putting extra peroxide in to make it blonder"
Eff off lol
Lol it wasn't as bad as I was expecting, but I really do think they should have used a regular salon, not all of us are charging so much. And te people reading it are probably thinking that kind of price is the norm.
Got to say I did laugh about the extra peroxide, id just like to know if she wastes a tube of colour to get the peroxide from the other one, or does she get cheap peroxide from a shop and no clue what strength she should be using or the correct mix?
She said she uses schwarzkopf, so I'm guessing it's the live xxl ice blonde (with her saying ice ) its got a high lift tint AND bleach in there ( I open boxes on some colours to see what's in their kits lol) that you mix in 1 and "slap" on lol.
It's a shame though that they used good lighting on te salon colours and plain on the home colours, also styling on both should have been done, it's more an more obvious to consumers these tricks and I think it's just made it look like we done it to make pro colours look better and home worse, they need a matching light comparison xoxo

People are so cheap! I'm sorry but more peroxide? Is she on cloud 9!!! Urgh I'm glad they stay at home! I wouldn't want them in my salon! Just Becuase it's only "£5.00" does not mean it will give you the results you want! Rant over :p xx

Its a shame they didnt do it more in depth as in one could of gone to a trainee at a local hair dressing college, one could have gone to a middle of the range salon and one to a luxuary salon. They are taking too much of a drastic step. The home dye brigade want to be thrifty, and in this economy who can balme them! There are ways of getting hair done professionaly but on a budget, for example, as I said go to a college and have a student do it! Especialy if you have an all over tint, they will be using the pro products, but charge a fraction of the price, nice and even, looked over bye a tutor who will have years of experience and wont take long as no foils etc. I am partly writing this reply incase a person who uses a home dye stumbles across this post and it puts them off going to a professional even more when they read the article. My advice would be if you are looking for bargain prices ask in a salon for a trainee, there are budding hair dressers out there crying out for "models". x

So true! There is a reason we won't do this... People seem to want to be blonde at any cost!

The colour that she puts on herself looks vile and doesn't compliment her skin at all I don't think x
