Hope your all having a nice night. Today I took a clients hair extensions out - that's all sh e wanted nothing else after. Anyway she obviously paid to have them in paid for the maintenance etc. so at the end of the service (2 hours on) it seemed like there was no sort of mention of money (people normally say how much do i owe you or something like that) so I said "do you have up your loyalty card with you as I think your on the stamp for 10% off so it will be £__ instead of £__ " and she sort of looked a bit embarrassed and I was like "is that ok for you" and she said "is it ok if I transfer you the money as I don't have a any cash on me" I said that's fine and gave her my details. She text me tonight and said her computers not working to get on so is it ok if she transfers tomorrow when she goes into town. I said that's fine..
My worry is I'm positive I will get the money as I've known her years and she's a lovely person and not like that I'm just feeling a but awkward as I think she was expecting to pay nothing?! Like it was included in what she had already paid previously if you see what I mean. Even though I never said this and my price list clearly says price for removal. Just seemed odd as she had no cash when she always does normally. What do you lot think I'm a bit confused by the whole thing as I would never have a service done and not pay anything do you think she thought it was free or she genuinely didn't have any money? :/ x

I also feel partly to blame as maybe I should have told her how much it would be before I did it but she didn't ask and it clearly states on my fb / we page and price list x

Only you can know what you think, without having years of a relationship with them it's hard to judge. Maybe you could up your installation price to include removal? That way you have earned extra of the client goes elsewhere for removal, it avoids situations like this ad by the time it's time for removal most will have forgotten they paid at install so feel like they had a freebie. Remember to put on removal that the price is for other extensionists hair removed seeing as they didn't get them with you it's not included xoxo

I like this idea. I never stated that the price involves removal though so I just think "why did she think she wouldnt be paying " I always state whats involved in the price. I dunno why but I just feel a bit bad? God knows why I'm just a bit soft sometimes I think x
