My 18th Birthday

im having a party at my local (they will go mad when they find out i am just turning 18, been going there 3 years).LOL

but it only holds 100 people.

i have a BIG family (over65) and then theres my boyfriends family then my friends. but i cannot invite them ALL


what do i do?

seems a life time ago...i had a big 18th /joining navy party.
for the big do friends and immediate family came cause it wasnt the kind of do for the "older generation/nans" you know booze, stripper:irked:
i then had a seperate do for family nans/oldies at home drinks nibbles...so why dont you have 2 (get loads of pressies then....lol)
on the other hand if you invite family they usually leave early and friends usually arrive later...so you may not have more then 100 at any one time...if you catch my drift

never thought of people leaving early. i could get family to come at 7 and ask friends to come at half 8/9 ish

have your family at the pub and then go out afterwards with your friends clubbing or whatever, then you wont look like a complete alcoholic in front of the family. Your not gonna remember it anyway so I wouldnt plan too much! I cant remember much from my 18th x x

You generally find that 30% of the people you invite don't come for one reason or another so i shouldnt worry too much.

Plus as has been said people come and go throughout the night. Better it be too full than empty and you look like a billy no mates eh?
