Competition And Challenges Rules and Guidelines
Clarification:
Challenge
Maximum of 10 entries per challenge on a poll with a public vote that does not have any prizes or rewards.
Open Competition
Unlimited entrants, a panel of judges, with or without prizes and awards.
All competitions and challenges, apart from ~Emmsybabes~ geeky challenge, have to be passed by the moderators before being allowed
The 'organizer' needs to present the rules of the competition/challenges to the mods (via pm) along with their proposal before creating a thread about it
The moderators will discuss each proposal and get back to you regarding a timeframe and rules relevant to each individual competition/challenge
There needs to be a clear outline of how many members can enter, ie either limited 10 entries with members voting or a unlimited with judges
Challenges have to be limited to a maximum of 10 applicants if a public vote is to be used, this is because we have a maximum of 10 options on a poll. The challenge organizer should keep a list of all members who are interested, if the maximum number of entrants is exceeded those who miss out can be first in line next time round
The moderators will decide on a time frame for each competition/challenge on an individual basis
We don't want to be known as a nail competition site and risk losing potential new members because of the competitions, therefore we will limit the number of competitions run on the site
Open (unlimited entrants) competitions with judges are separate and can be run (with approval) at certain times of the year, with or without donated prizes.Salon Geek reserves the right to change, delete or add to the rules and regulations as seen appropriate.
