Bernie was invited to his friend's home for dinner.
Morris, the host, preceded every request to his wife by endearing terms, calling her Honey, My Love, Darling, Sweetheart, Pumpkin, etc.

Bernie looked at Morris and remarked, "That is really nice, that after all these years that you have been married, you keep calling your wife those pet names."

Morris hung his head and whispered - "To tell the truth, I forgot her name three years ago!"

Haha, very good Janey-K. My boyfriend also says that he calls me "Darling" so that he doesn't have to remember the names of his many girlfriends! As if ......... x

lol i know what you mean ,worse one thou is my husband has on a few occasions called me by his ex-missus name ..now that's:mad:

I know how you feel my hubby has on occasion been known to talk to someone on the phone about me and refers to me by his ex's name:cry: The only thing is that when he catches on he is just sooooooooooooo apologetic:)

tans&hands the look and the wrath of my tongue said it all LOL
