Hi, i use the XL2000 su do tanning kit with airbrush and think it is excellent, i am mobile but if i were in a salon i would invest in the spray gun it is much quicker and easier to apply. I think there is more overspray with the airgun though but i am not sure. I have a little with the airbrush although not much. I think the HVLP systems are heavy so wouldn't be any good for mobile use.
Why don't you try and have a demo? |

Hi Mamma
Thanks for your reply, so your saying that because i am doing mobile and i don't want overspray the airbrush is better. i was actually thinking of getting the su-do kit but to use with Fantasy tan? I think it was the tc5000 kit???? Do you use su-do product? Thanks xxx |

I was told that this kit is useful if you are continuosly spraying. Being mobile your not gonna be doing it continously, maybe if you have tanning parties which i do , i have sprayed 6 in a row and my compresser was fine. You will need to be aware of the weight, mine is heavy and i have the smaller one. I do tanning, nail, and tattoos with mine and it has been fine.....until recently where i have a problem with my focus airbrush. I use the XL2000 airbrush for tanning and it takes me approx. 10 mins to do a full body dependant on size of course. The airgun wuld take about 3-5 minutes. when i did my training i was told that with the airbrush yu are more likely to miss places, but if you follow a set pattern/routine of tanning this wont be a problem......i have had no complaints with 100% repeat custom. My clients have preferred my airbrush to the spray tanning booths.
i was in two mind wether to get th 5000 compressor but for the price and the difference it would make for me i decided on the XL2000. I find this is enough for the services above. Ask for a demo |

I use the su do tanning lotions. Both bronze and dark. i like both and are very natural looking. I ahve found that the bronze hasn't been dark enough for some people, but to me if you go too tanned it can look false and tango'd ,IMO. Both are nice. I have the fake bake as it is suppose to be dark although i havn't tried it yet, i am happy with what i have butthe Fantasy tan is also popular. I think it is a mind field and will pull your hair out deciding on what system to use, mine is perfect for me and am very pleased with it.

I would say the compresser as it is lighter to carry. the hvlp systems can be quite heavy to carry and not really suitable for mobile. ALthough saying this i think Solglo offer the HVLP system for mobile use. HVLP = high volume low pressure, as far as i am aware they use more solution with more overspray
