Just wanted you geeks across the pond to know how sad I am about recent events. I hope none of your friends and family have been injured although I know it still affects you as a country. Much love goes out to you from this country but I specifically wanted you geeks to know in the boonies of Iowa there is someone who is always thinking of you and hoping you are well

Thanks for your well wishes hun. It is scarey, especially after yesterday. But I think we were so determined to get on with our lives and not let these saddo's get to us that they felt it necessary to give us another warning. However I think it will just make us even more resilient. We Brits are a funny old lot, we moan and moan about our lot, and then when something like this happens we rally round and stick to our guns - what they call "the Dunkirk Spirit".

It's just a shame that such a tiny minority in this world are so hell bent on destroying others. As soon as you get rid of one crackpot another takes their place! But now I'm getting political and that gets me into trouble so I'd better finish.
